About Artist

Shreem Art Studio is led by Sreenivas.Dorawamy, a dedicated artist whose journey in painting began in 1990s. What started as a simple hobby at the age of 10 gradually evolved into a lifelong passion, driven by a deep fascination for colours, form, and the expressive power of traditional art.

At a time when conventional academic paths were the norm, he chose to pursue his true calling—art. This decision shaped a remarkable journey rooted in creativity, discipline, and devotion to craftsmanship.

Over the years, he has mastered a wide range of traditional painting techniques, particularly in Mysore paintings and Tanjore paintings, while also developing his own distinctive artistic style. His work carefully balances innovation with tradition, preserving the authenticity and sanctity of classical South Indian art.

With a portfolio of over 7,000+ artworks, his creations reflect intricate detailing, refined techniques, and a deep cultural connection. Beyond creating art, he has also mentored and trained numerous students across India and abroad, sharing his knowledge and passion for traditional painting.

His work has gained recognition internationally, with exhibitions including showcases in the United States (Chicago), further establishing his presence as a respected artist in the field.

For him, art is not just a profession—it is a form of devotion, where every painting is crafted with patience, purpose, and a deep respect for tradition.
